Barry Pain was also known as a humorous writer. The plot is rather similar to the Grossmiths’ ‘Diary of a Nobody’ [already uploaded] but the satire is more pointed.

[Madam Broshkina has already uploaded an illustrated version. This doesn't have illustrations, so is slimmer, but does have curly quotes.]

Ive located a 600 page colection (online reading) of Barry Pains' "humerous stories" on Google books,if anyone would want (I can't imagine who) .
