Pain, Barry: Eliza, v.1, 27 April 2008.
Barry Pain was also known as a humorous writer. The plot is rather similar to the Grossmiths’ ‘Diary of a Nobody’ [already uploaded] but the satire is more pointed. (The source was Project Gutenberg.) [Madam Broshkina has already uploaded an illustrated version. This doesn't have illustrations, so is slimmer, but does have curly quotes.] This work is in the Canadian public domain OR the copyright holder has given specific permission for distribution. It may still be under copyright in some countries. If you live outside Canada, check your country's copyright laws. If the book is under copyright in your country, do not download or redistribute this work.

Ive located a 600 page colection (online reading) of Barry Pains' "humerous stories" on Google books,if anyone would want (I can't imagine who) .
