Reading a Kindle book on Gen3
I am using the Mobipocket DRM on my Gen3.
I have bought some Kindle e-books - I know that they are the same as Mobipocket.
If I buy the "kindle" format from a site such as Smashwords, then I can synchronise and it goes on my Gen3 without any problems. But if I buy from Amazon, I can't seem to transfer them.
Can anybody help me with this? I even have some of my mobipocket books on my Kindle for PC application and can't get them to transfer back to my Gen3 either.

Most, but not all, Amazon ebooks are MOBI with DRM (some are DRM-free MOBI and some are DRMed TOPAZ and a few are DRMed PDF). You need to strip the DRM to read on the Gen3. See Apprentice Alf's Blog for more on DRM issues.
