Creator MPC Image Issue

The nitty gritty: I have windows XP and MS Office 2007. I have saved my original format as both *.doc and *.docx. I have saved as both a web page as well as a web page filtered. I am using Mobipocket Creator v4.2

In short, when I have HTML tags for my images <img src="author_photo.jpg" /> for example when I build it spits out the PCR file with the HTML there, but no image.

I followed the directions of the people on this thread: http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31051 but it still won't work even after physically moving the files to the output folder.

Can someone tell me how to fix this? In short I want the cover to appear as the first page, but also wish to have 1-2 other images within the body of my eBook.

Any help is appreciated!

Do you get any errors on the "Build" page of Mobi Creator?

With the tag you've quoted, the image file will need to be in the same folder as the HTML file. Is it?

I get no errors on the Build page and yes, the images are in the same folder as the HTML file, hence my puzzlement. Any help is greatly(!) appreciated!
