That chrome plug-in looks interesting. I'll have to try that for S & G's.

I tried the chrome plugin, then discovered it's now available for Safari:
http://blog.klip.me/post/3420667794/...ort-safari-now & both work ok. I now look for the "reader" button in Safari's address bar, to focus on the actual "article", but some pages don't have that facility, but clicking on "Send to Kindle" provides a similar feature I can just cancel the send if I decide I don't want to send to Kindle after all. |

Maybe this will be interesting for some Firefox user out there. An add-on that search for books related to websites you are visiting:

Sendtoreader (http://sendtoreader.com) is another alternative. In addition to bookmarklet which works fine in Chrome, FF, Safari and Opera, there are several handy additions like online text editor (useful to join several texts into a single doc), ability to be integrated into the "Send to" Google Reader's menu and few other features.

Kindle It
We're also trialling something similar. If anyone's interested: http://fivefilters.org/kindle-it/
It tries to extract the content block from a given page and send it to your Kindle. Currently it does not support images, and we've restricted it to @free.kindle.com addresses until we're happy it's working okay. |
