Interessanter Kindle-Hinweis bei libri
Durch Zufall bin ich bei libri auf folgenden Standardhinweis gestoßen (libri zählt nicht zu meinen eBook-Shops):

Das hat mich doch sehr verblüfft.
Das zeigt, dass inzwischen Realitäten auf dem deutschen eBook-Markt existieren, die man als Shop nicht ignorieren kann. Bei einem Lesegerät, das nur als Import für den deutschen Markt angeboten wird.

So einen Hinweis setzt man nur, wenn ausreichend Kunden schon danach gefragt haben.
Was aber, wenn Amazon wirklich mit einem deutschen Kindle-Shop aufwartet? Baut libri dann sein Sortiment an MOBI/PRC (wieder) auf? Nur zwangsläufig dann ohne DRM?

Bin mal gespannt.

Yo, aber seit ePub fristet das ein Schattendasein. Und für das liebe Kindel müssten sie dann ja auch ohne DRM sein (was libri wohl kaum hinbekommen wird).

Amazon wird nicht das aufgekaufte Mobi-DRM verwenden, um seine Bücher bei libri reinzubekommen (was technisch möglich sein müsste), sondern sein eigenes.

Das derzeitige PRC-Angebot auf libri lässt sich auf dem Kindle nur lesen, wenn man vorher das DRM entfernt.

Ich versuche schon fortlaufend, den "Tatsch-Screen" als erfolgreiche Anmache für berührintensive Dates durchzusetzen.

Aber da bin ich meiner Zeit wohl voraus.

Naja... Ich habe leider ständig Kunden, die irgendwas "reingesetzt" haben wollen, weil irgendwer, irgendwas noch so absurdes nachgefragt hat (obwohl es nahezu ausgeschlossen ist, dass noch ein zweite auf diese Idee kommt).

Bin ja froh, dass die letzte Jugendschutznovelle nicht durch ist, sonst müsste der Thread ab 16 laufen ...

Mein Kindle hat eine wundervolle Aluminiumrückseite, um anderen die kalte Schulter zu zeigen, wenn ich mit ihm spiele. Das ist sich seiner Überlegenheit souverän sicher; bei einem Kindle tatscht man nicht rum, man streicht ehrfürchtig über die weichen Rundungen ...
