Is it possible to use the Kindle to edit/correct typos on a non-DRMed book using the keyboard entry?

Mark the errors as you find them. Use tompe's "mobi2html" tool to explode the book into its Open eBook source. Fix the errors. Rebuild the book with MobiGen.

You will probably need to change the file name from *.azw to *.prc for mobi2html to work. Haven't tried it on original .azw files but the renamed .azw ---> .prc file works fine in the program.

Thanks, Harry. I was looking for a more direct fix that this type of work-around. That's basically what I had been doing.

BTW I don't have a Kindle but such a capability might make the sell for me.

Changed so that it should work with azw. mobi2html and html2mobi will work but currently the cover image will not work automatocally and you might loose the guide TOC. It is work in progress so in a couple of weeks it will probably work with respect to this.
