Nook eInk getting a "major update" (v1.5) update next week
Not sure if this is old news, anyhow here is the quote in their press release.

Looking at the "support page" this is what the Nook site says

This will be version 1.5 with the following enhancements:

  • Improved search on the device
  • Customized Barnes & Noble Library organization
  • Password protection
  • Syncing last page read across NOOK and all devices enabled by our free NOOK apps

The V1.5 update is expected to be available in late November via Wi-Fi or manual download from this page.

Unless the page turns are lighting, I think I'll keep my softroot...I'm still kind of underwhelmed by the list of so called "most requested"....I think organization was top priority for most people, not just Barnes and Noble organization.
