So third-party replacement iPod batteries are better than originals. What does that say about Apple? Are they trying to save money?

Just wanted to note for anyone considering this: Replacing the battery by yourself will void your Apple warranty.
Make sure you're not within the warranty period before attempting to crack open your pod.
