If you chop the "maybe" from my sentence it changes its meaning - please don't misquote me.
My very limited experience with Mac owners is the basis; they tend to think that, when something goes wrong, it is their fault, not the device. Take it for what it's worth, my sample is very small. The other basis is the great apple PR. |

The fact that that rating is from J.D. Powers is a giant clue. They seem to have a lock on clueless poll participants.
Do you actually have a basis to support an alternative, or is it just more of your rabble rousing? |

Wouldn't you expect this anyway?
Apple just make high-end devices. HTC and Samsung have a range of cheaper devices which would not get such a high satisfaction rating. It's still a valid metric, but doesn't reveal whether users of high end HTC and Samsung smartphones are less satisfied than their Apple brethren. Graham |

Where did the Goophone rank? I couldn't help but chuckle when I read these stories. Is this for real?

Is price and value included among the factors? I think an iPhone has nicer, sleeker design than HTC and Samsung phones, but I can get a Samsung and a Kindle for the same price as an iPhone. From that viewpoint, my choice is easy.

Not sure about their latest phones, but yes they've had smaller, cheaper ones in the past. My daughter has an HTC Wildfire.
In fact, if HTC has fewer low end devices than Samsung, it reinforces the higher end - higher satisfaction idea. Graham |

This study (and previous 7) are only peole who had their phone for less than a year.
I guess one result from study is that people would be happier and more satisfied with device if they would invest in quality device. Not surprising. Same in all areas: cooking gear, sports gear, etc... |
