Windows 8 ain't doin' it for me. Windows 7 works just fine, so I see no need to waste $40 on an upgrade. In fact, I'm seriously considering a Chromebook and ditching Windows.

Will Windows 8 + the right tablet will do it for laptop-intensive users? That's what I'm hoping to be convinced of over the course of the next six months.
