Problem loading widget

Two or three times I've now got "Problem loading widget" on my main screen after doing a lot of activity. I can't scroll to the other screens to get my shortcuts and have yo use the All Apps button. I guess I've used too much memory and it's not recovering. Is there any way to get rid of this other that re-booting?

I get this occasionally if I run too many things, I think the only way is a reboot

you could try going into settings/apps and kill off some that are running, but I dont think the widget recovers
