So You Want to Be a Wizard: New Millennium Edition

The new, revised edition of So You Want to Be a Wizard is finally available.

Diane Duane is updating the first four books in her "Young Wizards" series to make the timeline fit in with the later books in the series.

The revised edition of the first book in the series is now available.

I've just bought it. It's now at the top of my TBR pile. I'll comment when I've read it on how good I think it is.

(I am a fan of the series, so I hope I like the changes. I even have signed first editions of the first three books)

Somehow I'm glad I didn't buy this series yet - some other wizard story always seems to be getting in the way. I'd be kinda frustrated if I'd bought this last month and found out I'd probably have to rebuy.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll get around to this series eventually, probably.

I have a couple of quibbles with the changes, but on the whole it's been neatly updated without significantly changing the story or the feel of the story.

Highly recommended.
