devices which can be used as ereaders and to doemload and watch films

Hi

Just wondering if anyone is aware of a device which can be used as an ereader and to download and watch films on. Someone showed me an Archos 7 recently which they use to download films to just wondering if there is something that combines the two which would be great.

The answer to that question really depends on what kind of videos you want to watch. If you're looking for Flash videos like youtube and hulu then the only answer right now is a pc. Something like the Asus T91MT that several of us are using as a reader.

The archos 7 or 5 actually

There are two android app for e-reading (fbReader and Aldiko), if you're ready to mess up with drm.

the IPad, too.

EowynCarter, none of the devices you listed are capable of displaying flash video. They all have Youtube apps, but that leaves out other sites like Hulu, etc. That's why I thought it was important to ask what videos the OP has in mind.

Movies and tv shows is what I had in mind. I looked at the ipad but that does not have a usb port which means that all the books I currently have could not be transferred. Is the archos 7 any good as an ereader and what formats would it use.
