Title & Author reversed

90% of the time I import new books into Calibre it assumes that the title is the author and the author is the title.
Is there any way to fix this?

either:

edit metadata individually and cut & paste

or

edit metadata in bulk and check the box labled 'swap title and author'.

If you want to stop it happening in the first place you need to change your file pattern in Preferences->Adding Books.

Right now in Preferences->Adding Books it says:
(?P<title>.+) - (?P<author>[^_]+)

What do I change it to? Something like this?
(?P<author>.+) - (?P<title>[^_]+)

Something like that. You can plug in a book filename and test it in the Add books preference area too.
