New Kindle Fire HD TTS
I understand that the new Kindle Fire HD has different ivona voices from which to choose, i.e., Salli, Joey, Brian, Amy. If I install another reader such as Moon+ Reader Pro, will it be have the same voice choices and use the same TTS engine. Most of my ebooks are epub format and I would rather not have to convert all of them.

Not the HDs tho the voices are not so Canned as on the K3 you still only had 2 choices Male Female.

Maybe your thinking about the HDX?

Which 2 voices are they? Someone who has the new HD said there were 2 American (Salli and Joey) and 2 British (Brian and Amy). Was he mistaken? I have asked Amazon customer service several times, but they don't seem to know what I am talking about.

Are you talking about the old HD or the new HD? According to Amazon the new HD uses Ivona for voices. Just wanted to clarify as I thought in another thread you mentioned having the old HD.

I have the 2nd gen Kindle Fire HD, and you get the same choice of voices as the HDX. Also, TTS works fine with the sideloaded Moon Reader Pro app.
