Aluratek Libre $47 Black Friday deal at Big Lots
The Aluratek Libre is $47 in the Big Lots Black Friday ad. Here's a LINK to the ad. They also have one of the Pandigital Novels for &79, not sure which version.

I may have to get someone a nice gift! I have their frequent shopper card, and have a 20% off next order discount.

Bumping this for no other reason than that I saw several Aluratek readers for $47 at my local Big Lots today. Looks like they're keeping the low price until they are rid of them all.

I saw them there for the mid $30s lately...
Anybody have some insight on their screen vs. eInk? Would I be doing somebody a disservice to get them one? I suspect that they're something like my old Palm III was, which I actually liked reading on, but it's been so long I wonder if I'd have a different opinion now, having used eInk for so long. |

I still like my Libre Pro. It's comparable to e-ink in good light and doesn't have the flashing that e-ink does.

At the price you mention, I think you would be doing your friend an inexpensive favor by getting him one. |

I had two and unlike xanthe I hated both. One could not run fast enough to give me one.
