Hey, I just read on on Cliesource that there's a new beta for both iSilo 3.3 and iSiloX.

iSiloX:
iSiloX 3.3b1 adds the following features:
Added support for URL filters for excluding images and the following of links based on the image or link target URL.
Added wildcard and regular expression pattern matching support for URL filters.
In the Link properties, added URL Filters button for accessing new dialog for specifying and modifying URL filters.

GREAT!!! There is some work to do with the channel list adding these new filter capabilities ...

The image links will be useful. I used to use that feature in Avantgo to capture pix.

What are the main uses for these new features? It's very late for me so I'm a bit dense right now but neither of these seemed like anything to get excited about.

The latest iSilo supports inclusion and exclusion of links and images based on regular expression (perl). This means we can now define *exactly* what links and images iSilo should include and/or exclude. Before, there were only limited ways of doing that through link-depth and stay on host/don't stay on host.

Version 3.3b2 addresses the following issues:

If the silk screen area has been resized while a dialog is active, then upon returning from the dialog resize the view.
Using the Edit Bookmarks dialog, modiying document or global bookmarks of read-only documents may cause a crash.
Using the Edit Bookmarks dialog, moving a bookmark in a Palm Doc document stored on VFS media results in an invalid update of the displayed bookmarks.
From 3.3b1: Pressing a directional button while in full screen mode causes full screen mode to exit.
Version 3.3b2 adds the following new features:
Added toolbar button for jumping to the top of the home page. If a document was not converted with a home page specification, then a jump is made to the top of the first page.

For a button assigned to the Back action, if the button is pressed and the back history is empty, then close the document.
Added support for wide/tall screen modes of AlphaSmart Dana.
