Help! Hercule Poirot series
I want to read the series in order (or at least by publication date). I went to GR, as usual, to look up the info, but I got a bit confused. I wonder if anyone knows of a web resource for series info?
thanks a lot |

Ah, now, there's a thing.
I bought the complete works on CD - yes, non-Poirot as well, even though I didn't want 'em ! - and never thought to read them chronologically, unless they were loaded in order...... There was a Christie fansite, but I think it has closed down - but I can't believe it's not somewhere reasonably accessible on the web. I might check here in UK , if you have no luck. |

Stop, You're Killing Me! is a wonderful website with all sorts of info, including lists of books by authors, by character (series), and by publication date.
Here is their Agatha Christie link: http://www.stopyourekillingme.com/C_...ie_Agatha.html |

There is also: http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/ - type in your author's name and it will list the books in publication order by series.

Have you considered agathacristie.com?
Here's the Poirot page with all the books on the right hand side in publication order. http://agathachristie.com/christies-...ekicks/poirot/ |

Here's the link to the wikipedia page. It gives both publication date and chronological order: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hercule..._in_literature

Which bookstore sells the complete works on Agatha Christie on CD? That's a resource which would certainly interest me.

I looked into this when I bought the ebooks in a fictionwise sale in 2009. It's complicated a bit by different titles and even slightly different US and UK publications, but I put together a list of the books. The numbered ones are the current ebooks. Unnumbered ones are original (usually US) publications that are included in later books. First publication date is given. Alternative titles are given in parenthesis. Main characters follow the titles.
"The Mousetrap" short story isn't in any of the ebooks, as far as I know. It still can't be sold in the UK, as UK publication of the story isn't allowed until the end of the run of the stage play of the same name. It's been running continuously since 1952 at St. Martin's Theatre, and the run shows no sign of coming to an end... Spoiler:
