Try our alternative firmware. We just added support for CBR/CBZ files. There is no need to convert them to PDF anymore. Our firmware does not require flashing of the device. You install it just by copying files and can remove it as easy as deleting these files if you want it. When starting eReader you will have option to load original firmware or alternative firmware, so you can have the best of both worlds.

Does this support PRS-650? I have heaps of comics in CBR/CBZ format. If it is compatible with that could you explain how to install? Is it just a matter of putting the alternative firmware in the root directory? I've been converting most manga I read to LRT format that's why hope to get this to work, also does it automatically read the manga/comic in order of the folder/image file or just by image file. If you can't answer that it will just be a matter of trail and error. But fingers crossed its compatible with PRS-650 as it's touch edition.
Thanks
