I heard that J.K.Rowling is going to sue God for the Bible on the basis that she is emotionally devastated to discover that he used his omniscience to write the Bible by plagiarising her unpublished novel, Harry Potter and GIVE ME YOUR MONEY, YOU THIEVING PIRATE BASTICHES!.

There is always TNIV (www.tniv.org), "Todays New International Version"...
But seriously, there are more versions of the Bible out there than is decent, even with different books in them.
My favourite is King James edition - search it for "pisseth against the wall" and prepare to be surprised
