Houston Chronicle has been Kindlized!

Yet another great newspaper for your Amazon Kindle... the Houston Chronicle, the largest daily newspaper in Houston, Texas, can now be subscribed and downloaded wirelessly each day through Whispernet.

It is great that the kindle motivates news papers to create electonic editions. But I think it is a shame that we will have lots of news papers available for the kindle, but none for the other devices.

The content should not be device specific, but universal.. Let's hope that is something which will grow in the future.

For PRS-505, you already have the *free* calibre to do this. Since you have to dock it to upload any content, I think calibre is as good as commercial subscriptions (if they provide any via eBook library).
