The DRM currently supported by the JBL, the eReader DRM, is still one of
those that are being offered by some ebook retailers. There is an effort
underway at Ectaco to also offer the same DRM support available now
on the JB, for the JBL, as well.

That said, all the ebooks provided by, any ebook retailer, can be read on
the JBL - as soon as you remove the DRM, from the file you purchase. In
some cases you may also need to convert the ebook format, but the JBL
already handles most of them. You might want to convert some anyway
just to improve the formatting, to your tastes and the JBL's display.

If you were to restrict yourself to only those who provide a particular
DRM format supported by your device, you are artificially locking your
ebook purchases into certian providers, something that has very seldom
led to lower pricing.

As of yet, there is no DRM scam that will allow for making purchases at
any or all ebook retailers.

Luck;
Ken
