You might find this interesting. Recently, the Royal Society opened it's archives (1665~1940) to the public. I bet there's some crazy stuff in there.

So do Prince William and Charles really have the merits to warrant Fellowship, or are they just in because the Royal Society is intent on becoming as meaningless as most other once prestigious accomplishments (see: Prize, Nobel)?
