I just saw one of the context adds on another forum page for paper-convert.com -- don't know a thing about them, though. I guess we'll see if the context ad server is clever enough to pick it up and post the ad on

Scanning a book yourself is tedious, but not particularly difficult. You'll need a scanner and some sort of
OCR software to get text out of it. Basically, you scan it page by page (with spiral bound you can probably unbind it and run the pages through a feeder), then run the OCR on the results, then you have to proof it.
Tedious, but doable if you care enough to go to that much trouble.
