The white version is bad anyways, it reduces perceived contrast on the screen (text looks lighter due to contrast), the plastic gets dirty and you'll want to clean it a lot from your hands, and it discolors/turns yellow with age and exposure to sunlight.
This is why most PC/electronics manufacturers have tended towards black over the years and away from white/beige =X
