1000MB should be enough, but I am curious as to why you would not just have a single partition cover the whole 4GB disk.

There is no writing img file with WinImage in this process, all the files are to be copied over to the sdcard as a "copy-n-paste" or "copy to folder" operation.

If you aim to use TWRP, rename twrp_2220_sd.img as recovery.img before copy it to sdcard.
