My OpenOffice template is defined as:
Width: 5"
Height: 6.5"
Right/Left margins: 0.04"
Top/Bottom margins: 0.20"
The default font is Nimbus Roman No9 L at 12 points.

This produces very readable documents (for me) on the iLiad.
