Cool podcast, and a great speech by Jeff!
He absolutely has the right to criticize the title of this thread "PalmSource still has money to spend"; it is a controversy topic whether or not PalmSource is currently well-positioned in the market for providing mobile solutions.
Considering the downtrend of PalmSource stock since September 2004, plus the various recent downgrades by financial analysts, I don't believe the investment community takes a raise in compensation, at least in the current situation, as easy as Jeff does.
