Baseball or Batman Cards?

A train set damaged, a new start.
Can it be fixed Dad?

A new start, a new baseball team,
A new position, pitcher!
Coach, I can't throw, catch or bat.
Can I do this Dad?

Girlfriends, pinball machine,
fire engine red F-100,
A summer with DuPont,
Breakfast with Dad.
Roof needs to be shingled,
"Son, handle it."
Dad?

High school graduation,
pouring concrete, turning cash,
"Son, college calls."
Dad?

Winter break in Tulsa,
A softball game, a dive, batters safe.
A trip to the Er.
"Son, are you hungry?"
"Dad, how about Wendy's?""
Doctor; 3rd degree separation,
Surgery in three days.
Dad?

Another bad break-up,
Father and son to a show.
Winter break, roller skating.
Bad fall.
"Dad, surgery in three days."

A wedding.

One daughter; Savanna

Another son; Shawn.
The family is complete.

A new venture
Late nights, long hours.
A voice of assurance.
A loan, tough divorce.
One chapter ends, a new one begins.

OSU basketball game,
A great victory ends with a fall.
The lights are slowly dimming
