I don't think anything special needs to be done. Just make sure only one device is connected at a time. If I'm in error I'm sure a Kindle knowledgeable individual will be by soon to correct me. As you can see from my data below my avatar I have multiple devices and I regularly connect all the devices listed without any problem.
