Apart from the iliad platform support, iRex backported some newer CIFS (windows networking), a newer wireless API (V13 to V19) and code for the pcf8563 RTC. They also did some misc. fixes regarding the drivers that the iliad uses (smc91x, mmc_pxa, and dont't know if I'm forgetting something). See irex patches ( linux-2.4.19-rmk7-pxa2-irex1.patch and linux-2.4.19-rmk7-pxa2-irex1-v2.11.patch ).

You would also have to forward-port iRex's button, battery and delta driver. That left us with the tffs.o driver.

That would be the most tricky part, as the remainig tffs.o driver is proprietary and your best bet is to try beg iRex to compile it for your new kernel. But they should be pretty busy now finishing the firmware for the DR800, so this one will be tough.
