After stumbling upon this reader on the bjs.com site, I poked around the internet to find information. It seems to be a good entry into ereaders, so I just ordered it. Thanks to the folks here and other forums for giving me the right expectations for the device. It is online only, $49.99, free shipping, while supplies last or until August 31. If you are not a BJs member, you can get a 'one day pass' but have to pay a 15% surcharge (this is deductible if you later choose to join).
I look forward to using this. My 10" android tablet is heavy to read with. My first try was with Jane Austen's Mansfield Park which I found somewhere in pdf. Every time I open the book I have to tap tap tap to the zillionth page. Also couldn't get the tab to work with my public library. So much technology, so little time. Lots to learn.
