Avantman oh yep what you say makes sense and it seems that all involved in the deal should have been approached and accepted it. Although I do wonder if the artists themselves were ever included in this process.

But, I must admit, my post was more in the rhetorical sense .... because the same arguments re Royalties, copyright, personal use, lending etc are equally applicable to ebooks.
