I first came across this novel when I was almost ready to buy it and then, almost as an afterthought, I thought I'd check to see if Gutenberg had it which they did.
Xenophon first assembled the novel
Pagan Passions for MobileRead. I want to thank him for his excellent work.
My version is slightly different:
1) It does away with the internal numbering within the text, numbering that is an HTML artifact [or "choice"] and does not represent the actual numbering system on the Sony Reader.
2) My version also does away with the Gutenberg information, which goes on for pages and pages.
3) I've also included my own Table of Contents.
4) I used BookDesigner for my copy, so links work both forward and backward to link Chapter Headings.
On the Cover of the paperback:
