Book Places will be places where people go to look at books -- not read them. They will be full of showcases of valuable books plus 'touchies' that people can thumb through. They will sell coffee and e-readers and a small selection of books for collectors (I'll be prowling for a copy of The Ghost of Opalina or Nine Lives).
People will not pay to visit, but coffee and snacks will be expensive and there will be a donation canister as well as memberships that promise to treat patrons to sneak peaks and private events.
I can't wait!
