@Terisa - when I got my Dell XPS just over 12 months ago Windows was already installed and ready to go. Onedrive was synchronising everything from Documents, Pictures, Music and Video. I soon put a stop to that.

When my friend got a new HP laptop this year it was setup the same way, which for her is ideal; she's a road-warrior, a freelance architect specialising in AirBnB fit-outs. We added a few extra locations to OneDrive, such as her Autocad stuff.

It probably noteworthy that these were both 'custom built' systems, not off the shelf retail. I did ask Dell if there was an option not to install Windows and send me an install DVD - alas there wasn't.

I haven't dealt with a fresh Win 10 install to a bare machine, only upgrades from Win 7 and those two pre-installed versions on custom built systems.

Sure it can be reconfigured, but... first you have to know it needs doing, and second you have to know/find-out how to do it.
