And it's supposed to be handled differently. With the mini, the user is supposed to hold it in one hand and use the other to touch the screen. The smaller bezel on the side is necessary so the user can hold the device without difficulty. With a reader you typically need a larger bezel with buttons for pages. There are other ways to do this if you want a more compact device, like turning pages by touching the screen, but it depends on what you want to use the device for (just reading vs. doing text annotations for example).
