this is the way mobi files work, not ePUB. for mobi if you select follow link small numbers appear beside all of the links on the page and a bar appears at the bottom to type the number into. Tap the number, if there are 15 then 10-15 will jump automatically. The numbers 1-0 will need a leading 0 or else tap ok.
