Page-break-inside:avoid and mobi

I'm producing a poetry ebook from a Word document, by firstly making a valid ePub version and then converting it to mobi with calibre.

The author wants me to ensure that the verses/stanzas do not break. In the ePub version I've done this by putting each verse in a container with page-break-inside: avoid; in the style sheet.

But it doesn't work in the mobi version - the text breaks anywhere. Is there a way in mobi of ensuring that all the lines in a verse stay together?

Regards, Alex
