Many of the readers, freed from the usual constraints of professional-style, or even polite, behaviors, took the project and its particular challenges to heart. At least one chapter is read by a group in a Dublin pub (they may or may not be strangers, but I'm pretty sure they abstained from the diet cola, and were enjoying a more indigenous beverage.)
