I think my mom has read every Michener book out there. I used to tease her "so how's the big book of adjectives about Alaska?"
Needless to say, we don't always see eye to eye on book choices. She didn't like Haruki Murakami, but we both liked Vikram Seth. We do talk a lot about what we read, she's always looking for more ideas.
