heart-stopping adventures: perhaps Daniel Defoe or Melville
Well that's what they did last year anyway. I don't remember the books they released but on the third day it became obvious they weren't giving away anything not in the public domain. I don't expect them to give away anything by Stephenson or Dan Brown but a hidden gem by a lesser known author or an older book by an established one would be more welcome.
