Just out of curiosity, why? your ability to read the books will depend on having a good wifi connection - if for some reason your wifi goes away, so will your access to the books.
I'm in the opposite situation: I actively avoid anything that requires a connection to The Cloud - i feel much more secure having my books on my computer.
