I made the install but it did not help. I get the same error message. I noticed that the libpng12 is in the .../kobo/tmp/libpng-1.2.43/.libs/ and in .../kobo/fs/lib/.
Any suggestions please?
If Qt 4.8 caused, how can I upgrade it from 4.6?
