Hi,

Was just about to update my kindle to 2.5.2 (using the official amazon file) and it seemed fine, until it got to 'stage 1 of 3'.

A message popped up, that the update was not successful.

The kindle restarted and now I'm still on 2.3.4!

I had the usbnetwork and savory hack removed previously. The updates from 2.3.2 to 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 went fine.

I did modify some config files to mess around with the proxy settings etc. ... could that be the reason why the update fails?

My kindle is properly registered and whispernet works just fine.
