At first I was thinking that restarting Windows can help as I'm restarting maybe once a 2 weeks, but it doesn't. Fresh start of Windows, connected ebook reader, visible 2 disks, running Calibre and cannot find any device. When running the detection from preferences/advanced, the same result as above.
In that report I can see those 2 disks (D and I), but Calibre doesn't recognize them as Sony reader. Maybe - isn't there missing a "Looking for PRS600" text?
