Thank you for replying spindlegirl. I bought it in iTunes on my computer. I've only ever used iTunes for a book once before and that was a freebie and obviously from the experience I'm having now was DRM free.
When I click the book it doesn't even open in ADE, and I get the 'drm' message in Calibre. Guess I'll read this one on my iPod and consider it a lesson learned...
