I wouldn't subscribe, but that's an interesting idea. It would entice even more indie authors to go Amazon-exclusive and join KDP Select, which is how their ebooks are available for borrowing through
Kindle Owners' Lending Library. KDP Select authors are paid for each borrowed book (December's royalty was $1.70 per borrow). If borrowing would be allowed more frequently than once a month, that would increase the odds that an author's book would be borrowed!
