Free book (DRM-free MultiFormat) - Murder on the Mind [psychological suspense ]

Murder on the Mind, 1st in the Jeff Resnick mystery/thriller series by L.L. Bartlett, is temporarily free (may be pricematched in the other stores if it lasts long enough).

This was originally published by Five Star/Cengage (a small press which also publishes Lillian Stewart Carl's mysteries, among other things), and is now backlist e-published by the author over at Smashwords.

Author bio says she has praise from Romantic Times and an Agatha Award nomination, so these may be some form of romantic suspense.

Found via the autogenerated Twitter feed on the Smashwords bio page of backlist author Miriam Minger, who's got a historical romance novel free in this MR thread, and says that Bartlett's book is on time-limited promotion.

Description
A mugging leaves insurance investigator Jeff Resnick with a fractured skull, and graphic nightmares of murder. But when a local banker is found dead, Jeff believes the attack left him with a sixth sense, and finds himself probing into dangerous secrets that touch his own traumatic past.

Originally published by Five Star/Cengage. "A tightly paced story with a good kick at the end."--RT Magazine
