If you want to know how to remove ABC..

Hey there, if you want to know how to remove the Generated by ABC Lit Converter footer, it's actually a lot more simple then you think. I saw various threads on here with users who didn't know how to do this.

So here are the steps for when you have a document that says 'Generated by ABC Amber LIT Converter, http://www.processtext.com/abclit.html' or any other unwanted footer.

Select the book with the unwanted tag.
Go to 'Convert Book'. Go to 'Search And Replace'

Where it says 'Search Regular Expression', copy and paste the 'Generated by ABC' blahblahblah from the .pdf document into the that field.

Hit the Wizard's wand and select 'Test'. You should then see the occurences of that string of text, 'Generate by..' It will look something like this:

"<b>Generated by ABC Amber LIT Converter, http://www.processtext.com/abclit.html</b>

Then you will click the 'Add' button. (Replacement Text field should be empty. You want to REMOVE a text string, not REPLACE.)

Then you should see the string of text you have entered above, complete with opening and closing expressions. The Replacement Text field next to it should be blank.

Then click 'Ok' and it will convert the book to the specified fomat -- Without the nasty footers.

To test the book, click on the 'Format' link on the right of the book, and click on the original book with the nasty footers, it will still have them. Now click on format you converted to, epub in my case and check. It should have the footers gone.

Important! In the RegEx builder window, the 'b' and '/b' should be copied as well, otherwise I don't think it will work all that well, if at all.

Ah well, hope this helps whomever was stuck on this. I'd imagine it will also work for other footers as well.
